Dr Donald Munro Fox gained his medical degree with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1987.

He then completed his training in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery from Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and New York University Medical Center in 1992. Since then he has practiced both cosmetic and reconstructive oculoplastics (plastic surgery around the eyes and in the orbit) in the New York area.

Over the last two years he has studied intensively with Dr. Roger Amar both in the U.S. and Marbella, Spain learning the FAMI technique. Dr Fox continues his collaboration with Dr Amar in Marbella and New York City.
